Frequently asked questions
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel expenses are included for photo sessions within the Metro Atlanta area. However, if the photo session will be held more than 30 miles outside of Atlanta, additional fees will accrue. I charge an additional $25 per 50 miles.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable to you and that makes you feel great! Being uncomfortable is the number one reason photos do not turn out well. And remember, this is Georgia, so it's HOT.
Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?
Of course! During our consultation, we can discuss adjustments to the photography package, locations, and potential poses. However, price is nonnegotiable.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
One week! I'm pretty fast, and I make sure not to schedule too many sessions in a week. Most likely I will give you a preview a day or two after the photoshoot, but it typically takes me a week to send you the link to the gallery.
Should I bring props?
You can bring props if you would like. We can discuss it in the consultation. I will have a neutral colored blanket to set on the ground, but other than that, props are on you.
Can I request specific poses?
Yes! This is a team effort. I encourage all clients to consider the specific photos they want. We will discuss this during the consultation, but I always except suggestions to provide you with photos you love.
How much do you edit the photos?
I do basic color correction, blemish removal, and cropping. I WILL NOT fundamentally alter the way you look. Yes, I can do it, but I refuse. You are beautiful! Your photos will be beautiful! The additional edit in the packages are to change things that I missed in the initial edit. I am human. I make mistakes, but I WILL NOT completely alter the way you look.
How does the re-edit process work?
You will select photos you would like for a re-edit and specify what you would like done to the photos. Usually, clients do not request re-edits, but when they do, it is typically because I missed a blemish or the color of the photos showed up differently on their devices. You just let me know, and I fix it and update the gallery.
